HUFFY 

A brand that produces a wide variety of bicycles ranging from mountain bikes to cruisers. They provide bikes for women, men and children, they also tend to use bright colors.

CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

Campaign Goal: Promote use of bicycles

 

Audience: 16 to 30 year olds who know the difficulty that comes with driving.
They like enjoying rides but hate spending money on gas.

The Problem: When choosing a way of transport people generally think cars are faster  than bikes but in actuality bikes have some great benefits that cars don't.

CONCEPT

Huffy bikes, the ride that defies.

DELIVERABLES

PRINT ADS AND OUT-OF-HOME ADS

The visuals are very simple and graphic. The only copy on them is the tagline "The Ride that Defies" emphasizing the benefits of a car that bikes have too and the things that only bikes can do.

INSTAGRAM 

Huffy will also have a sponsored ad that follow along with the visuals seen in the ads above. The post will also talk about the similarities between a car and a bike.

PINTEREST AD

There will also be an ad on Pinterest about the bikes that will appear when people search the word 'bike' or any words associated with 'bike' into the Pinterest search engine. The ad is a gif of a biker cruising through the bike lane with the tagline "The Ride that Defies" showing up as he pedals. If you click on the ad it will take you to the Huffy bike Pinterest board.

PINTEREST BOARD

Huffy will have a Pinterest board with different seat, wheel, body options for the bike along with different accessories you can attach to your bike. The idea would be that you could create your own dream bike with different Huffy bike parts on your own board and share it with the brand. The company would then choose one of those design to make and give to the chosen person.
